The all-new SIGMA 12 DLS offers a noticeable increase in performance – while delivering loads of flying fun in the thermals thanks to its forgiving flight characteristics. The redesigned internal structure makes this XC machine both more powerful and lighter. Weight is kept down by using mini-ribs with Nitinol rods in the leading edge and a Durable Lightweight Structure (DLS) that balances lightness and durability in the best way.

Mini ribs with Nitinol
Additional mini ribs on the leading edge ensure that the wing maintains its precise shape – especially in the aerodynamically critical front area. Carefully calculated mini ribs enable an optimal profile in all flight phases. This is a key factor behind the SIGMA DLS's high performance. The ribs are reinforced with weight-optimized Nitinol , and the internal seam provides a clean leading edge without visible threads that could otherwise be damaged during takeoff or ground handling.
3x3D shaping
The highly curved and aerodynamically sensitive area at the leading edge has now been integrated with a triple-graded 3D shaping . The result: a smooth and wrinkle-free leading edge with a smooth top surface – for cleaner airflow and improved performance.
Efficient C-handle system
The SIGMA DLS features an updated rear riser system with handles on the C-riser . The system distributes input from the C-riser to the B-riser to maintain an optimal wing profile. Even during accelerated flight, the glider can be actively controlled through this C/B system – for smooth and precise maneuvering.
