✈️ What is included in the trip?
Each trip may vary slightly, but typically includes:
• Accommodation
• Transportation to and from airports
• Briefings, guiding and weather analysis
• Local contacts and logistics
• Some backup/ground service
• Experienced guides/instructors
Flights and meals are not normally included – see the trip description for details.
🎒 What should I bring?
Mandatory equipment:
• Approved harness, paraglider and helmet
• Rescue
• Radio (VHF, 136–173 MHz, open)
• Pilot's license
• Travel insurance that covers paragliding
• Valid passport
• Personalized medicine
Recommended: sun protection, GPS, vario, life jacket (for SIV), light jacket, sunglasses.
📄 Do I need a license?
Yes, all trips require you to have at least a Student license (or
equivalent international license). Some destinations also require Pilot 1
or documentation of experience. At SIV previous experience and a secure
take-off/landing technique.
🧑✈️ How experienced do we have to be?
It depends on the trip.
• SIV courses: You should be confident in takeoff and landing, and have flown for a while.
• XC trips: You should be able to curve thermals independently and handle simpler elements.
• Guided trips for all levels (e.g. Azores): also suitable for less experienced pilots.
Please contact us to find a trip that suits your level.
📆 When is the last day to book?
It varies – but places are often limited and book up quickly. We
recommends that you book at least 45–60 days in advance . Final payment
usually takes place 45 days before departure.
💳 How does payment work?
You pay at least 20% when booking (registration fee). Final payment is due no later than 45 days before departure .
🚫 What happens if I have to cancel?
• If cancelled more than 45 days before the trip: refund of everything except the registration fee
• Less than 45 days before departure: no refund
We recommend that you have travel insurance or pay with a credit card that includes it.

🛒 How do I place an order?
You can easily place your order directly via our website. Select the desired product, size and quantity, click "Add to cart" and follow the steps in the checkout.
📦 What delivery options do you offer?
We cooperate with reliable shipping companies and offer delivery to all of Sweden (and Europe upon request). Usual delivery times:
• Sweden: 2–5 business days
• Europe: 5–10 business days
Tracking numbers will be sent via email as soon as your order has left our warehouse.
💳 What payment methods can I use?
We offer secure payments through:
• Card (Visa, Mastercard)
• Swish
• Klarna (partial payment, invoice)
🔁 Can I exchange or return an item?
Yes! You have 14 days to return the item from the date you received it. The item must be in unused condition with original packaging. Please contact us before returning for instructions.
🧾 Will I receive a receipt or invoice?
Yes, a receipt/invoice will be automatically sent to your email after completing your order.
🛠️ I can't find a certain product - can you bring it home?
Absolutely! We have access to a wide range from our suppliers. Contact us and we will check availability and get back to you with price and delivery time.
