Would you like more time to develop your paragliding skills? In May 2027, 1420 Airborne is organising an SIV course at beautiful Lake Idro in Italy. We offer a full six days of training, giving you plenty of time to practise, analyse your flights and work on improving your technique.
Six Training Days – More Time to Develop Your Skills
Many SIV courses run over three days. We have chosen to offer six full training days because we believe that having more time for practice, repetition and feedback creates great opportunities to develop as a pilot.
During the course, we combine theory, practical training over water and video analysis. We plan for two SIV flights per practical training day, weather permitting. Between flights, we review the video footage and discuss what you can take away from each session and apply to your next flight.
With six training days, you have the opportunity to revisit different manoeuvres, build on your experience and receive individual feedback throughout the week.
Our idea is simple: more time on the course means more opportunities to learn, practise and develop your skills.
The course is led by Pål Hammar Rognöy, accompanied by Patrik from 1420 Airborne.
