For the first time, commercial tandem pilots have been deeply involved in the development of a BIBETA model . Together with several experienced pilots from the well-known tandem area of ​​Interlaken, we defined what is required of a perfect tandem glider – at take-off, in the air and when landing. During a long test program, the prototypes of the BIBETA 6 were used in everyday operation, where careful feedback was refined into a final product that not only met, but exceeded all expectations .

The result? The professional pilots' only question was:
"When can we get one?"

From only 6.7 kg – strong and durable
The BIBETA 6 is a completely new design and is now available in two sizes: 38 and 41. Line handling is simple: shake the three-line risers and the lines separate automatically – ready for takeoff in no time. The wing lifts smoothly, without pushing off, and both pilot and passenger are quickly in the air. In flight, the BIBETA 6 responds precisely to the slightest brake movement , with comfortable brake pressure and perfect flare behavior on landing.

Thanks to reinforced sliced ​​diagonals , crossed poles at the leading edge , thick lines and reinforced support points, this work wing has an extra long service life . Despite the robust construction, it weighs only 6.95 kg in size 41 – and packs easily.

The BIBETA 6 is mostly equipped with uncoated Magix Pro Aramid lines from Edelrid , the German quality supplier. Through advanced technology and careful finishing, these lines have:

✔ Longer lifespan than equivalent coated lines

The aramid linees are also very stable in length , color-coded for easy sorting , and resistant to moisture and dust – which means they do not require any special handling.
