Spring is approaching and it's high time to plan the first big flying adventure of the season together with 1420 Airborne ! ☀️
At the end of May we head south for two of the year's most appreciated trips – SIV course in Turkey and mountain flying & XC in North Macedonia .

🇹🇷 Ölüdeniz – SIV & Coaching

🎯 Level: Pilot 1 and up

The trip begins in classic Ölüdeniz , where we practice safety measures over the sea in a safe and controlled manner.
Here you will have the opportunity to refine your flying technique, understand the limits of your glider and practice maneuvers with experienced instructors.
SIV training is the best thing you can do to prepare for summer flying in Scandinavia – both for safety and confidence in the air. 🌤️

🇲🇰 Krushevo – Mountain flying & XC

📅 May 31 – June 7, 2026
💰 Price: 13,900 SEK
🎯 Level: Student with mountaineering qualification or higher

Immediately after the Turkey trip, we continue to Krushevo in North Macedonia , one of Europe's most legendary mountain flying spots.
Fantastic thermals, beautiful views and the chance for long-distance flights await you here.
The trip is suitable for those who fly independently and want to develop in XC (cross country), but also for those who want to gain experience in stable mountain conditions.

🌍 Two trips – endless lessons and experiences

Combining SIV in Ölüdeniz with XC in Krushevo makes for a perfect whole:
you go from safety training over the ocean to real mountain flying just days later.
This is a unique chance to grow as a pilot, while experiencing two iconic airfields in one go.
