Paragliding Adventure in Provence
We’ve just returned from an unforgettable week in Provence – a trip full of flying, adventure, and great company. This region truly delivered, both in the air and on the ground!
Flying Days in Gourdon and Saint André
We were lucky with the weather and managed to fly 4 out of 6 days. One day was spent soaring above the stunning landscapes of Gourdon, while three full days were dedicated to the classic flying site of Saint André-les-Alpes. Altogether, we logged over 10 hours in the air, and on three of those days we went beyond 50 km flights.
Two participants even set their personal bests by flying from Saint André all the way to Saint Vincent – and the best part: everyone who set off on that flight made it all the way to goal!
Great Food and Wonderful Company
The food was another highlight of the trip. We enjoyed delicious dinners at local restaurants as well as cozy evenings cooking together in our house. Sharing meals and stories after long flying days added a special touch to the whole experience.
Exploring Beyond Flying
On the days when the weather didn’t allow flying, we took the chance to explore. We visited the boat show in Cannes, and even went on a cross-border trip to Italy and Monaco. Combining paragliding with cultural experiences and sightseeing made the trip even more memorable.
A Grand Finale at Coupe Icare
To top it all off, we ended the week with the legendary Coupe Icare in Saint Hilaire. This iconic festival offered spectacular shows, colorful costumes, and the chance to see all the exciting new gear that’s coming in 2026. The atmosphere was incredible and left us inspired for future flying adventures.
