Paragliding in the Azores – flying adventure on São Miguel 🌤️

What a fantastic trip we had to São Miguel in the Azores! This time the island really delivered – we were able to fly almost every day , with only two days of bad weather.

We started the week at Sete Cidades , one of the world's most spectacular flying sites. Soaring along the crater rim with the blue and green lakes far below is an experience that will stay with you for a long time.

Later in the week we also flew to Furnas and several other beautiful places around the island. The combination of volcanic landscapes, coastal slopes and warm sea breezes gave us perfect conditions for long and relaxed flights.

When the weather didn't allow for flying, we took the opportunity to experience more of the island – bathing in hot springs , visiting tea plantations , hiking to waterfalls and enjoying local food and wine .

The Azores once again showed why this is one of our absolute favorite destinations for paragliding. The green nature, the stable climate and the relaxed atmosphere make us already long to return!
